Bursa Malaysia (BMDEX) operates the most liquid and successful crude palm oil futures contract in the world. Crude palm kernel futures and crude palm oil futures are primarily traded on Bursa Malaysia in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and US dollar denominated contracts.
A former British colony, Malaysia was formed in 1963. Malaysia’s economy has traditionally been fueled by its natural resources but is transforming into an emerging multi-sector economy.
