The Team
The Academy Trainer will be part of the Academy team responsible for conducting both in-person lessons and online seminars for clients interested in learning about the financial markets, with a focus on commodity trading, trading platforms, technical analysis, and trading strategies in Asia. The role involves designing and delivering high-quality educational content to traders of various experience levels, helping them develop the skills required to succeed in the markets. The Academy Trainer will be required to travel overseas e.g Vietnam, Indonesia to liaise with counterparts and for training purpose.
This position reports to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct In-Person and Online Training/Webinars/Seminars:
Lead interactive, engaging training sessions to teach trading concepts and strategies related to commodities, financial markets, and technical analysis such as:
Introduction to commodity markets.
Using trading platforms and tools.
Understanding technical analysis (chart patterns, indicators, etc.).
Exploring different trading strategies
Develop lesson plans and course materials that are accessible and practical for beginner to intermediate traders.
Organize, facilitate, and supervise trading workshops and hands-on learning sessions, providing practical examples and case studies.
2. Develop Training Content:
Partner with the business to create, update, and improve educational content, including PowerPoint presentations, learning modules, and reference guides.
Stay up-to-date with market trends, trading strategies, and new trading tools/platforms to ensure the content is relevant and current.
Prepare assessments and quizzes to track the progress of learners.
3. Promote Trading Education:
Engage with potential clients through promotional activities such as social media, advertising campaigns, or word-of-mouth referrals to attract new students to the academy.
Participate in industry events or networking opportunities to expand the reach of the Trading Academy.
Requirements
You should possess the following:
· Diploma/Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.
· Proficiency in using trading platforms, charting software, and technical analysis tools.
· Comfortable using webinar and video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex trading concepts in a clear and simple manner.
· Able to present information confidently to both small and large groups.
· Experience in creating and delivering interactive and engaging presentations.
