The Team:

The Finance team is responsible for the accounting, tax and treasury functions of the Singapore entities within Straits Financial Group. This position reports to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily customer/broker segregation and risk-based capital report

• Handle full set of accounts and month-end closing

• Assist in preparation of tax computation

• Liaise with auditors on annual audits

• Assist in drafting of annual financial statements and XBRL submission

• Prepare quarterly GST/VAT reports and MAS reports

• Assist in projects and adhoc requests by Finance Manager/ CFO

Requirements

You should possess the following:

• Possess Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification with 5 years of related experience

• Meticulous, organised, good working attitude and willing to learn.

• Committed, able to excel well under pressure and possess strong sense of urgency and responsibility

• Proficient in MS Office application
