Chicago, IL - July 15, 2024 - The Straits Broker Summit "NASCAR Weekend" held from 5th - 7th July 2024, at prominent venues across Chicago, concluded with resounding success. The weekend kicked off with a warm Welcome Reception on Friday evening, 5th July, at The Westin - River North's Riverfront Room. Attendees were welcomed to an evening of camaraderie and anticipation for the events ahead. 

On Saturday morning, 6th July, the General Session convened at The Westin Astor Room, featuring esteemed speakers who shared their expertise and insights. Corey Folske, a seasoned Exotic OTC Market Maker and OTC Derivatives Trader, provided valuable perspectives honed from over 18 years in the industry. James Gordon, Chief Operating Officer of Straits Financial LLC, addressed crucial operational aspects including compliance and risk management. Emily Balsamo of CME Group contributed her extensive knowledge in Agriculture Research and Product Development, recognized globally through leading financial publications. Brett Harrison, Founder and CEO of Architect, brought his expertise in algorithmic trading systems and technological innovation to the forefront. 

The discussions, as highlighted in Brett Harrison's LinkedIn post, encompassed pivotal topics such as the rise of global retail derivatives trading, low latency techniques in derivatives HFT, AI in investment decisions, and collaborative efforts between IBs and FCMs. 

On Sunday afternoon, 7th July, marked a thrilling conclusion with the NASCAR event held at The Hilton's North Imperial Suite from 1pm to 8pm. Attendees enjoyed networking in a relaxed setting, further strengthening relationships fostered throughout the weekend.
