We are seeking a sharp, market-savvy Market Analyst cum Content Writer with a strong background in journalism and a deep passion for trading. The ideal candidate may have experience as a journalist in any industry but must possess strong knowledge of financial markets—or better yet, be an active trader themselves.

In this hybrid role, you will blend analytical thinking with storytelling to create content that captures market trends, simplifies complex financial concepts, and turns raw data into digestible, eye-catching insights. You’ll leverage your market sensitivity, analytical skills, and writing expertise to produce high-impact content that speaks to the trading community and attracts retail investors.

This position reports to Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct real-time market monitoring and research across financial instruments including equities, forex, indices, commodities, and crypto to identify trends, catalysts, and insights.

• Produce high-quality, compelling content such as market commentaries, news analyses, educational articles, social media insights, newsletters, blog posts, and website content tailored for retail traders.

• Translate live market activity and financial data into actionable insights using both Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis techniques.

• Digest market information from multiple sources—news wires, earnings reports, economic calendars, charts—and synthesize into original analysis that captures audience attention.

• Stay ahead of global economic developments, geopolitical risks, central bank policies, and macro trends to provide relevant and timely content.

• Work closely with internal teams to support marketing campaigns, product launches, platform education, and client engagement efforts with data-driven insights and narratives.

• Create content that simplifies trading concepts while maintaining accuracy and depth, catering to beginner, intermediate, and experienced traders.

Requirements

You should possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, finance, economics, or a related field.

• At least 2–4 years of professional experience in journalism, financial writing, market research, or trading-related content creation.

• Demonstrated trading knowledge and practical experience (demo or live), with a clear understanding of trading strategies, market indicators, and investor behavior.

• Ability to independently perform Fundamental Analysis (macroeconomic, corporate earnings, news interpretation) and/or Technical Analysis (chart patterns, indicators, price action).

• Strong analytical and editorial skills, with the ability to convert data and trends into compelling narratives that resonate with B2C audiences.

• Ability to write with clarity, speed, and accuracy, even under tight deadlines in a fast-moving market environment.

• Familiarity with content management systems, SEO best practices, and digital content formats is a plus.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic work setting.
