Jeremy Ang, Group Chief Executive Officer of Straits Financial Group, has received the FOW Lifetime Achievement Award at the FOW Asia Pacific Awards 2026, held on 24 September 2026 in Hong Kong.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is one of the individual categories in FOW's annual Asia Pacific Awards, which recognize firms and individuals across the derivatives industry.

Jeremy has more than 40 years of experience in the financial industry and has held a range of leadership positions across the derivatives and commodities markets. As Group CEO of Straits Financial Group, he is responsible for formulating and directing the Group's strategy.

Before his current role, Jeremy served as CEO of the Singapore Commodity Exchange, where he helped transform it from a single-product exchange into a multi-product commodity exchange. He also led the SGX Asia Clear Commodities initiative, which launched a multi-asset clearing platform covering freight, energy, and agricultural products. His earlier experience includes roles with DBS Vickers Securities (Singapore) and the REFCO Group.

The FOW Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes Jeremy's long-standing career and his contributions to the development of the financial and derivatives industries.
